Get ready for Boiler Bot Battle 2025, held on October 18th & 19th at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds!
This is our only post-season competition for 2025 REEFSCAPE. This is a great opportunity for new members, parents, and mentors to experience a competition! All are highly encouraged to attend.

Transportation:
School bus
EVSC will provide transportation to and from New Tech Institute at the dates and times listed on the event details.
Students, Parents, Guardians, & Mentors are welcome to ride the bus as long as space permits.
1-2 mentors will drive separately in the UHAUL.
Arrival times may change. We ask students to keep their parents/guardians informed of what time we will arrive back at New Tech Institute.

Meals & Expenses
New Tech Institute provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner for students & mentors (unless otherwise communicated) for trips of varying lengths. Lunches are usually provided by event mentors, while breakfast and dinner are usually at a restaurant or hotel.
Parents & Guardians are responsible for their meal Saturday night and Sunday night
Students will not incur any additional expenses. Students must bring their own money to purchase items not included as part of one of the meals.
Hotel Rooms
Students will room with 2-3 other student team members. ALL SCHOOL RULES APPLY during the entire trip. We trust you to be respectful and responsible!!

We are hosting a sponsorship training session hosted by Chris Osborne, Director of Programs at FIRST Indiana. All FLL, FTC, FRC teams including their student members, mentors, parents, guardians, and volunteers are welcome!

Rally for Kindness
Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. because Evansville is about to get a whole lot kinder. We’re gathering at Westside Library Park (2000 W Franklin St) for the Rally for Kindness. It’s a family friendly, joyful, loud, and proud celebration of community, connection, and caring.

1st Competition
Beneath the ocean’s surface lies our planet’s most complex ecosystems, full of life and potential for exploration and learning, where each inhabitant has a role to play in building a thriving environment. During the 2024-2025 FIRST season, FIRST® DIVE℠ presented by Qualcomm, teams will use their STEM and collaboration skills to explore life beneath the surface of the ocean. Along the way, we’ll uncover the potential in each of us to strengthen our community and innovate for a better world with healthy oceans.
In REEFSCAPE presented by Haas, FIRST® Robotics Competition teams will use their engineering skills to strengthen one of the ocean’s most diverse habitats. Watch the game animation to see how you can make waves.

We would love to invite you all to our Robot Reveal event Wednesday, March 12th, from 6 - 7 pm. We will be having refreshments and a presentation about our activities throughout the community before the final reveal of our robot for REEFSCAPE, the 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition game.

FIRST Indiana Robotics Scrimmage
Good afternoon! We are excited to host the FIRST Indiana Robotics Scrimmage this Friday, and are looking forward to seeing you and your teams. The scrimmage will be held at the Vincennes University student recreation center.
The address is 1600 Short Street, Vincennes, IN 47591.
Parking: There is a large bay door on the east side of the building that will be designated as the robot unload zone. All buses can park in the Red Skelton parking lots. ALL TIMES EASTERN UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED

Lunch is provided. It will be a box lunch with a ham or turkey sandwich, fruit, chips, and a cookie, plus a bottle of water. If you have students who have dietary restrictions, and cannot consume part or all of the planned lunch, please advise them to pack their own lunch as a substitute. At the end of scrimmage, we are giving away the game pieces, as first come first serve, so if you would like one for your team to practice on, please let me know. If you are planning on participating in the afternoon scrimmage session from 1:35-3pm, please let me know as well.

New Tech Robotics Open House
Our Open House will showcase the achievements and projects undertaken by our robotics team. It presents an excellent opportunity for attendees to show support for the innovative processes and technology-driven solutions our students have been developing.
During the event, attendees will have the chance to:
· Engage with the team members and learn about their experiences and accomplishments within FIRST Robotics
· View live demonstrations of the past and present robots, projects, and prototypes that our team has been working on (and drive a couple of robots).
· Interact with our team and mentors to gain an in-depth understanding of our team’s dedication to hands-on learning and student leadership.

Roboteer Rumble
Roboteer Rumble is a FIRST Robotics Competition offseason event in Tremont, IL. On October 26th, up to 36 teams from around the Midwest will come to Tremont High School to play the 2024 FRC game, Crescendo. The event is free and open to the public.
