FIRST Indiana Robotics Scrimmage

Good afternoon! We are excited to host the FIRST Indiana Robotics Scrimmage this Friday, and are looking forward to seeing you and your teams. The scrimmage will be held at the Vincennes University student recreation center.

The address is 1600 Short Street, Vincennes, IN 47591.

Parking: There is a large bay door on the east side of the building that will be designated as the robot unload zone. All buses can park in the Red Skelton parking lots. ALL TIMES EASTERN UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED

* 6:30 AM CT - Depart New Tech

* 6:50 AM CT - Pick up at Bosse High School

* 7:05 AM CT - Pick up at Harrison High School

Cross time zone to ET (+1 hour)

* 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Teams Arrive

* 10:00 AM - Welcome - VU, TMMI & FIRST

* 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM - Scrimmage * 12:00 PM - 12:35 PM - Lunch

* 12:35 PM - 1:35 PM - Tour College of Technology

* 1:35 PM - 3:00 PM - Additional Scrimmage

* 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM -Teams Depart

Cross time zone to CT (-1 hour)

* 3:15 PM CT - Drop off at Harrison High School

* 3:30 PM CT - Drop off at Bosse High School

* 4:50 PM CT - Arrive at New Tech

Lunch is provided. It will be a box lunch with a ham or turkey sandwich, fruit, chips, and a cookie, plus a bottle of water. If you have students who have dietary restrictions, and cannot consume part or all of the planned lunch, please advise them to pack their own lunch as a substitute. At the end of scrimmage, we are giving away the game pieces, as first come first serve, so if you would like one for your team to practice on, please let me know. If you are planning on participating in the afternoon scrimmage session from 1:35-3pm, please let me know as well.
